Our board met on June 17, 2021 for the first time since COVID. Members present were Wendy Tomich, Amy Hanna, Pamella Clugston, Marlene Hermes, Ellen Prior, Carol Waidner, Cherie Silcox, Carol Yudin and Doris White. Unable to attend were Cheryl Belohlavek and Mary Tesmer. We enjoyed a meal together while catching up before getting into the main business – the rest of the year’s calendar of events.
July 17 – Memorial reception for Wayne Pereboom and Betty Erickson. Please sign up if you will be attending and if you can provide a side-dish.
Sept. 12 – Possible date for LWML get together with Pastor Nader
October 3 – Church and Preschool Picnic
October 29 – Church and Preschool Trunk-n-Treat – 6:00 PM
November 7 or 14 – Celebration of Tom Miller’s ordination
November 18 – Advent by Candlelight – 7:00 PM
November 27 – Decorate the church for Christmas – 9:00 AM
December 1, 8, 15 – Advent Soup Suppers – 4:30 PM
January 8, 2022 – Undecorate the church – 9:00 AM
March 17 or 18 – St. Patrick’ Day Dinner
May 7 – Spring Tea
There are many opportunities for the congregation to help. Please see anyone on the board if you would like to help with any of these activities. We have been passing out a questionnaire which has more details, please return it to the church office or to one of the board members.
If you would like to attend a meeting to see what we do, you are most welcome. You do not need to become a member. Our next meeting is Thursday, July 8 at 6:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall.
