Letter to Congregation – May 27, 2020

You are here: Home / Announcements / Letter to Congregation – May 27, 2020

May 27, 2020 By Pastor Jim Toma

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Grace, mercy, and peace to you from God our Father and from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! God has blessed us with the opportunity to open our church for worship again and we are planning to do so on Trinity Sunday, June 7th at 11:00 AM. That said, I want to reaffirm that you all have Christian freedom to decide whether it is safe for you to come back to the assembly of the saints at Redeemer now or wait for conditions to normalize before returning. We will continue to provide the service online for those who cannot otherwise attend, are “at-risk”, or who would prefer to wait.

For those who do want to come back to the worship service, we will be doing a number of things to reduce the risk of any infections being spread, in accord with the Governor’s guidelines. These include limiting the number of people in each service, providing social spacing by using every other row of pews and separating non-family members by 6 feet. Please read the email sent to the Congregation on May 27, 2020 or contact the church office at 714-846-6330 for more information about our preparations and conditions for reopening.

I look forward to our glorious reunion! May the Lord bless you and keep you!

Yours in Christ,

Pastor Jim
