Breakfast Bible Study – November 13, 2021

ARE WE LIVING IN THE END TIMES?
Redeemer hosted a Breakfast Bible Study on Saturday, November 13 with Dr. Jeffrey Mallinson.  Dr. Mallinson explored the question “Are We Living in the End Times?”.  You can view a recording of the presentation here.

Jeffrey is Professor and Chair of History and Political Thought at Concordia University, Irvine.  He is also a speaker, podcaster and writer.  He specializes in the history of ideas, especially as they shed light on the ways in which religious and philosophical ideas can both emancipate and enslave people.  These days, he is focused on rethinking the methods of religious education and outfoxing religious wolves, which is the mission of his podcast and curriculum called Protect Your Noggin.  He is dedicated to working toward the well-being of young people within all levels.  He is married to Stacie and has two adult children.  He is faculty in residence for Concordia Irvine’s Honors Living Learning Communities.  For fun, he enjoys writing poetry, working on a playfully serious translation of the Tao Te Ching through their project Taosurfers, riding his new-era Triumph motorcycle, and long-term boondocking in a truck camper.
